Tougher than your dad
"I'm tougher than your da, he is tougher than you, and you'll be tougher than your kids, and none of us should want it any other way."
I came across this comic on Reddit, which in very few words sums up how we don't want our kids to experience the same hardships we did. I didn't necessarily see that in the comic at first (which is the whole point of the sub) but Reddit user standard_fee1907 shared a quote from his grandfather that immediately made me understand and regret any of the times I wished Gen-Z would 'toughen up'.
